Our love story began when we matched on Hinge on New Year’s Day 2024 and had our first date soon after at Tara Rose in New York City. Mitchell will tell you that the Dolphins played the Chiefs that night, while Julie remembers the key lime pie martini. However, the highlight of the night, and what really stood out, is how effortlessly the conversation flowed and how quickly the hours passed. There was an instant spark!

At the end of the night, Mitchell walked Julie back to her apartment and the rest was history.

Over the next two and a half years, our relationship grew through countless trips between Hackensack and New York City, weekends in the Hamptons, visits to see family in Baltimore and New Jersey, and plenty of time spent cheering each other on. Mitchell turned Julie into a Ravens fan, which was not too difficult since she already had a soft spot for purple teams, and Julie turned Mitchell into a women’s lacrosse fan.

On June 6, 2026, just days after officially becoming a doctor, Mitchell surprised Julie by proposing at her favorite restaurant in Montauk.

We cannot wait to begin this next chapter together and celebrate with all of our favorite people on September 5, 2027, at the Tribeca Rooftop!
